A message from Ms. BattinelliWelcome to 3rd grade - I'm happy you're here!
This is my seventh year teaching at Stark School. I taught 2nd grade for 5 years, and this is my second year teaching 3rd grade. 3rd graders are a special bunch - they are independent, curious, enthusiastic, and funny! This year, we will discover tons of new things together, from new book characters to mastering our multiplication tables. We will learn about the world around us through our studies of Geography, Chemical Tests, Rocks and Minerals, and Animal Studies. We will also take a peek at the past as we study U.S. Immigration. Let's get started! |
Brief Bio |
I'm a proud UConn graduate, where I obtained my Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and Master of the Arts in Curriculum and Instruction in 2009 and 2010, respectively. In 2015, I graduated from Sacred Heart University with my 6th year degree in Literacy Instruction.
I'm a lifelong Stamford resident with deep roots at Stark School - my father and grandparents were students here, and I was also a student here briefly. The Glenbrook community is near and dear to my heart! In addition to seeing me in the classroom, you'll also see me around school helping direct the Broadway Kids after school club, and singing with the Stark Raving Mad Jam Band at our holiday sing-along. |
